Young Avengers debut in Doctor Strange 2?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , or better known as Doctor Strange 2, is a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie that will soon hit theaters. Directed by Sam Raimi, Doctor Strange’s second solo movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo Benedict, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.

In addition to being promised to be an MCU movie with a horror feel, this movie has also been confirmed to have many cameos through its multiverse theme. Several previous rumors had said that the Illuminati super genius team would debut in this Doctor Strange 2 movie. However, what other people rarely expect is the presence of the Young Avengers in the movie, even though there are several clues that allow this to happen. Here’s a theory about how the Young Avengers debuted in Doctor Strange 2!

Involved in Many Important Events
Created by Allen Heinberg and Jim Cheung, the Young Avengers are a team of teen superheroes who made their comic strip debut in 2005, after Scarlet Witch caused the Avengers to disband in the tragedy Avengers Disassembled . Intended to fill the void of the Avengers, this new team of superheroes is noted to have been involved in various important events in the Marvel Universe, including Civil War , Marvel Secret Invasion , and Children’s Crusade.

Since then, many young superheroes have been registered as members of the Young Avengers, including Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Emperor Dorrek VIII, Marvel Boy, Ikol, Patriot, Prodigy, Speed, Stinger, Wiccan, Iron Lad, and America Chavez aka America. Miss America, who will soon make her MCU debut in Doctor Strange 2. In Marvel Comics, Chavez joined the Young Avengers in 2013 to protect Billy, the future Demiurge.

In his first appearance with the Young Avengers, Chavez becomes a very important member because he has the power to open portals to the multiverse. In the fight against a multiverse parasite called Mother, the Young Avengers must move across universes until their powers are gathered and strong enough to defeat Mother. Thanks to the portal created by Chavez and Billy’s power as Demiurge, the Young Avengers finally managed to defeat Mother once and for all.

Young Avengers ‘Assemble’?
It’s been confirmed that Gomez’s America Chavez character will definitely appear and may play a very important role in the upcoming Doctor Strange 2 movie. As a character who has the power to open star portals into the multiverse, it seems that Chavez will be desperately needed by Strange, in which Strange will instead look after and guide Chavez as one of his students who is being groomed as the next young superhero.

While on an adventure in the multiverse, Chavez, under Strange’s supervision, could see a team of young superheroes in action in an alternate universe, where one of them looks just like him. At this point, Chavez who was just passing through finally realized that he was destined to be part of a new superhero team that would later replace the void of the Avengers. In one of the trailers for Doctor Strange 2 , there is even a monster that looks like Mother in the Marvel Universe, where the monster binds Chavez’s hands and feet.

Later, the monster might make him more confident in the fate of the Young Avengers. Even though it only appears briefly, in the end maybe in one of the Doctor Strange 2 credit scenes, Chavez will meet potential colleagues in the Young Avengers, such as Kate Bishop from Hailee Steinfeld who previously debuted in the Hawkeye series. Later they will form a team of teenage superheroes who are desperately needed to protect Earth.

That’s a discussion about the possibility of the Young Avengers making their debut in the MCU through Doctor Strange 2. What do you think, geeks? It should be noted that this article is still speculative or theoretical, the truth will only be proven when the movie is released. However, regardless of whether this theory is true or not, so far the obscurity of Avengers has made many fans expect the presence of Young Avengers even more . It’s just a matter of time until the young superheroes can finally get together. Doctor Strange 2 is slated for release on May 4, 2022.
