Not long ago, Billboard released a list of albums that are considered the best during the release of 2022 to date. There are 50 albums on the list, including two K-Pop albums.

Based on the list released by Billboard, Stray Kids’ album ODDINARY is included in the list. As for TXT, minisode 2: Thursday’s Child is also on the list.

This makes the Stray Kids album the third Korean album to occupy the first position on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Billboard, the album is considered to have a diverse appeal.

“ODDINARY blends pop hooks, rap beats, and dance tempos in ways that are familiar in mainstream K-Pop, but every song lands with jaw-dropping intensity. From Venom to the vocal style on Freeze,” Billboard wrote.

Meanwhile for the minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, TXT is considered to bring a unique 80s vibe. Moreover, this album also scored high sales figures shortly after its release.

minisode 2: Thursday’s Child is TXT’s third release to debut at the top of Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. The album also debuted at number four on the Billboard 200.
