1. Iron Man
The film Iron Man (2008) which opened the MCU apparently tells the Ten Rings as a criminal organization in the Marvel world. Ten Rings is led by “Mandarins” who kidnap Iron Man or Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) while on a visit to Afghanistan. Because of the kidnapping incident, Tony finally created the armor as the debut of the Iron Man costume.

2. The Incredible Hulk
In addition to the appearance of “Mandarin” in the film Iron Man, one of the characters who play in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is named Abomination. Previously he had appeared in the film The Incredible Hulk which was released in 2008. The story of Bruce Banner alias Hulk, played by Edward Norton, features Tim Roth’s action as Abomination.

3. Iron Man 3
After meeting the “Mandarin” figure in the first film, Iron Man 3 features Tony Stark’s actions in helping the government face a terrorist threat. The issue of this terrorist threat is reportedly related to the owner of the Mandarin name. However, after Stark traces the truth, he meets Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley) disguised as Mandarin.

4. All Hail the King
This 13-minute film has a connection with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Although short, the story in this short film is about Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley) after being captured in Iron Man 3.
