The names of the racers who will perform in MotoGP 2023 are complete. On Friday (16/09/2022), one empty seat has been mastered.
It is Augusto Fernandez who officially signed a contract with the GASGAS Tech 3 team that will perform in MotoGP next season using a KTM motorbike.
Augusto Fernandez will be the teammate of MotoGP rider Pol Espargaro.
“Wow, it’s fantastic: to be able to move up to MotoGP with GASGAS,” he said.
“I want to thank everyone in the racing structure around me for the support since I signed with Red Bull KTM Ajo last year,” continued the Spaniard.
Chase the Moto2 World Champion
With a contract with the GASGAS Tech 3 team, Augusto Fernandez can focus on locking the 2022 Moto2 world title.
Now heading into the last six series, the rider who has followed Moto2 since 2017 is currently leading the standings and four points ahead of his closest rival, Ai Ogura.
“I’m very happy. It’s a dream. We still have work to do in Moto2,” said Augusto.
