‘The Batman’ Film Performs Screening Test Before Editing

In counting the days leading up to the release of ‘The Batman’, Collider had the opportunity to interview the director, Matt Reeves.

The film, which is highly anticipated for release this year, turns out to have a unique story behind it. Matt stated that he did a test screening before ‘ The Batman ‘ finished editing. This allows him to watch a longer film than will be shown later.

He was initially nervous, but realized that the viewers who had the opportunity to watch earlier liked detective stories and that detective stories were their favourite.

Matt said that the first version of the film was very ambitious and had a complex narrative. This unedited film is longer than they thought and will audiences be able to see a Batman movie with a complex narrative detective story? Can they keep up with everything?

He explained his pounding feelings at the time and when the audience started to like his Batman story, he was relieved and excited because he had loved this since he was a child and now he can see people like and enjoy his work on the big screen.

According to him, there were moments when he thought that the audience liked Batman and they really liked the story, which excited Matt . This is what he loves about the screening test .

In addition, Matt also explained his chat with Warner Bros about ‘The Batman’. This film has many adult themes, while WB wants this film to have a 13+ rating.

Matt finally tried to push the boundaries in this film by showing what is allowed for a 13+ Rating and still conveying what Matt wants in the film. Apart from that, both parties seemed very happy with their cooperation.
