For those of you who have watched the Squid Game series, you must be familiar with Jung Ho-yeon, right? Yep, the character of Kang Sae-byeok in the drakor has indeed succeeded in stealing attention despite being his debut as an actress. Ho-yeon’s popularity recently made it rumored to be joining the Euphoria series, starring Zendaya.

This rumor started from Jung Ho-yeon’s meeting with Zendaya at the 2021 CFDA Fashion Awards. After taking a group photo, Zendaya reportedly offered Ho-yeon to come to the set of the Euphoria series, which was currently producing season 2. Interestingly, Ho-yeon it turned out that he actually had time to come to the set even though he didn’t appear in the second season of the series.

This was revealed through an Entertainment Tonight interview with Ho-yeon while attending the 27th Critics’ Choice Awards with other Squid Game players. Ho-yeon had admitted that he was very interested in being able to join the Euphoria series because he felt comfortable when he visited the shooting location. “I’m not on the Euphoria team, but I feel safe and comfortable. So, yes,” said Ho-yeon.
