The Premier League is considered by many to be the best football competition in the world. All of that can not be separated from the many star players who graze in the English highest caste. Premier League elite clubs themselves are known to always bring in star players every season.

Arsenal
Since Arsene Wenger left, Arsenal have always failed to finish in the top four. In fact, this season the club nicknamed the Gunners did not appear in European competition. The reason, Arsenal only managed to finish in eighth place last season. Even so, that did not stop Arsenal from throwing money away and offering high salaries to top players.

This season Arsenal is estimated to have spent a salary of 115 million pounds, equivalent to Rp. 2.27 trillion. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the highest paid player at £250,000 per week. Meanwhile, central midfielder from Ghana, Thomas Partey, has a salary of 200 thousand pounds per week.

Liverpool
Under the tutelage of Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool managed to achieve a number of flashy achievements. Trent Alexander-Arnold and colleagues have won the Champions League and Premier League trophies in recent seasons. Liverpool’s success is of course inseparable from the new players brought in by Klopp.

Manchester City
Manchester City, which is the reigning Premier League champion, has just broken the English transfer record after signing Jack Grealish from Aston Villa. The Citizens did not hesitate to provide a salary of 300 thousand pounds for the player. The nominal is the second highest with Raheem Sterling.

Meanwhile, the player with the highest salary at Manchester City is Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian player earns 400 thousand pounds per week. The fourth highest income is filled by John Stones with a salary of 250,000 pounds. Chelsea

Last season’s Champions League final hero, Kai Havertz, earned £150,000. Mason Mount who is a product of the original Chelsea academy received a fee of 88,000 pounds. Overall, Chelsea’s salary expenditure this season is 155 million pounds, or around Rp3.06 trillion.

Manchester United
Manchester United last won the Premier League title in 2013 when it was still managed by Sir Alex Ferguson. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Red Devils have brought in a number of star players this season in order to win the title again. Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest paid player at Old Trafford with a nominal £510,000 per week.

Ronaldo managed to beat David de Gea who was paid 375,000 pounds. Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane are behind de Gea for £350,000 and £340,000 respectively. Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani are next in line with a nominal 250 pounds. If totaled as a whole, Manchester United’s salary bill reached 229 million pounds, or equivalent to IDR 4.53 trillion this season.
