In the midst of their efforts to defend the Serie A title, Inter now have to take care of their players’ contracts which expire at the end of the season. Otherwise, the player will leave the club on a free transfer.

Inter Milan signed Alex Cordaz in the transfer market this summer. The 38-year-old goalkeeper was recruited from Crotone on a free transfer.
Cordaz was not the first choice in goal after returning to the Giuseppe Meazza. He was plotted as the Nerazzurri’s third goalkeeper under Simone Inzaghi.
Cordaz signed for one year at Inter. Given his age, the veteran goalkeeper is unlikely to stay after the season is over.
Samir Handanovic is the current captain of Inter Milan. He has been with the Nerazzurri since 2012 after signing from Udinese.
At 37 years old, Handanovic is still a mainstay in Inter’s goal. The Slovenian has made 398 appearances for La Beneamata.
Inter are currently chasing Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana. After signing Onana, there is a possibility that Inter will let Handanovic off given his age.
Arturo Vidal joined Inter Milan in 2020. The Chilean midfielder has become Antonio Conte’s mainstay.
However, things changed when Conte left and was replaced by Simone Inzaghi. He hasn’t had much playing time this season.
Vidal has a salary that belongs quite high in Giuseppe Meazza. Inter will most likely part ways with the former Barcelona player at the end of the season.

Ivan Perisic has defended Inter Milan since 2015. The Croatian is included in Simone Inzaghi’s plans this season.
Perisic has played eight games in all competitions. He managed to contribute one goal and one assist from his appearance.
Despite having an important role at the club, Perisic is likely to leave the club at the end of the season. He has a chance to return to the Bundesliga.
Andrea Ranocchia is one of the senior players in the Inter Milan squad. He has worn the Nerazzurri shirt since 2010.
So far, Ranocchia has made 217 appearances for Inter. The 33-year-old player was able to score 13 goals and five assists.
The opportunity to play Ranocchia at Inter lately is arguably very minimal. He has only played once this season.
Inter Milan signed Aleksandar Kolarov last season. He was not a major player at La Beneamata.
Throughout the 2020/21 season, Kolarov only appeared in 11 matches in various competitions. He also felt the Scudetto title.
Kolarov’s contract will expire on June 30, 2022. Inter is unlikely to extend his contract at the end of the season.
Danilo D’Ambrosio has played for Inter Milan since 2014. He has made 235 appearances in all competitions for the Nerazzurri.
D’Ambrosio is no longer Inter’s main man. However, he often looks good when coming off the bench.
This season, D’Ambrosio did not get many opportunities to play. He has only appeared twice for La Beneamata.
Matias Vecino was listed on Inter Milan’s list last summer. However, the Nerazzurri failed to find a new club for Vecino.
Even so, Vecino still got the opportunity to play under Simone Inzaghi. He has made seven appearances this season.
Vecino recorded 246 minutes played from seven games. He managed to score one goal from that appearance.
Marcelo Brozovic still has an important role at Inter Milan. The Croatian midfielder appears regularly in the Inter Milan midfield.
