Real Madrid beat Barcelona with a score of 3-1 in a match titled El Clasico which was presented on the ninth week of La Liga 2022/2023, Sunday (16/10/2022) night WIB.

In the match which was held at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid, Real Madrid fielded the best line-up. Coach Carlo Ancelotti is still relying on a 4-3-3 scheme to dampen Barcelona’s game.

Ancelotti installed Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Luka Modric in the midfield. All three were installed to support the movement of the trio of Vinicius Junior, Federico Valverde, and Karim Benzema up front.

Meanwhile, Barcelona also relies on the same scheme, namely 4-3-3. Coach Xavi Hernandez made Ousmane Dembele, Rapinha, and Robert Lewandowski the spearheads to attack Real Madrid’s defense.

In that match, Barcelona first threatened through Rapinha’s action in the fifth minute. However, his shot from outside the penalty box was caught by Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

Seven minutes later, Real Madrid managed to open the scoring through Karim Benzema. The ball from his left foot kick from the middle of the penalty box failed to be anticipated by goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

In the 35th minute, the Santiago Bernabeu public again thundered to welcome Federico Valverde’s goal. Welcoming Ferland Mendy’s pass, Federico Valverde then released a kick from outside the penalty box which led to the bottom left corner of the Barcelona goal.

Lewandowski then again made curious in the 72nd minute. The ball from his right foot kick from outside the penalty box was pushed over.

Barcelona’s awaited goal was finally created in the 83rd minute through Ferran Torres. Receiving feedback from Lewandowski, Ferran Torres then released a left-footed kick that tore through the center of the Madrid goal.
