Rupert Friend & Stuart Martin Join in Zack Snyder’s Movie

Rupert Friend and Stuart Martin have teamed up and landed roles in the film ‘Rebel Moon’, an epic science fiction fantasy project directed by Zack Snyder for Netflix.

Zack Snyder ‘s ‘ Rebel Moon ‘ stars Sofia Boutella with Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae and Ray Fisher already joining the cast.

The addition of this class A role makes this Netflix sci-fi film a top film queue, considering the lineup of other actors and a very interesting design concept, making fans compare this work to the class of existing sci-fi fantasy films.

‘ Rebel Moon ‘ tells the story of a colony on the edge of the galaxy that is threatened by the army of a tyrannical leader named Belisarius. Desperate, the invaders send a young woman (Boutella) with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from a neighboring planet to help them survive.

Rupert Friend is the main antagonist of the story, a man who leads an army and will fight Boutella. Details of Martin’s character are unknown but according to a source he is also getting an antagonist role in this film. These two actors complete the roles that will fill ‘Rebel Moon’ from the antagonists and protagonists.

Production is scheduled to start in April through November. In addition to directing, Snyder co-wrote the script with writers Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. Snyder is also producing this with his wife, Deborah Snyder, and production partner Wesley Coller through The Stone Quarry trio. Eric Newman of Grand Electric also co-produced.

Rupert Friend comes from his third collaboration with Wes Anderson, the filmmaker’s adaptation of the short story collections ‘Roald Dahl The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar’ and ‘Six More’. The actor is perhaps best known for starring in ‘Hitman: Agent 47’ as well as his appearance in the hit series ‘Homeland’. He will next be seen in the ‘Star Wars’ series for the project ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi.’

For Stuart Martin, ‘Rebel Moon’ will be a reunion with the director Zack Snyder. The Scottish actor previously starred in ‘Army of Thieves’, which Snyder also directed and is a prequel to Zack Snyder’s own film ‘Army of the Dead’. Stuart Martin also starred in the mystery series ‘Miss Scarlet and the Duke’.
