Christophe Galtier (born 28 August 1966) is a French former professional footballer and manager who is currently the head coach of Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain. Galtier began his playing career with Marseille, then played for Lille, Toulouse, Angers, Nîmes, Marseille and Monza before retiring at Liaoning.
After retiring as a player, he began his coaching career as senior team manager at the Marseille club and Aris Thessaloniki then became assistant manager at various clubs before taking over at Saint-Étienne from 2009.
In July 2022, Galtier was appointed head of Paris Saint-Germain coach. from the first team by signing a contract that runs until the summer of 2024.
PSG officially appointed Christophe Galtier as the new coach
Rich Ligue 1 club PSG finally officially announced the appointment of Christophe Galtier as their new manager to replace Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday evening WIB.

Galtier is one of the most experienced coaches in Ligue 1. He has coached Saint-Etienne for eight seasons, from 2009 to 2017.
Later, Galtier became Lille’s manager. There, he successfully led his team to win the 2020/21 Ligue 1 season, as well as defeating the dominance of PSG’s expensive stars.
In the 2021/22 season, Galtier managed to bring Nice and successfully brought his team to the French Cup final.
