REAL Madrid are being hit by bad luck ahead of a crucial match against Manchester City . Carlo Ancelotti’s team is in danger of playing without David Alaba, who is reportedly still injured until now.

Of course this is bad news for Real Madrid. The reason is, they will play the second leg of the 2021-2022 Champions League semifinal against Manchester City, on Thursday, May 5, 2022

El Real’s opportunity for a comeback is actually still wide open. Although they are left with 3-4 on aggregate from Manchester City.

However, a severe test will soon be faced. David Alaba is reportedly still in an injured condition and has the potential to miss the crucial match. Until now, the medical team is still monitoring his fitness updates.

David Alaba got injured during the first leg match at the Etihad Stadium last week. He was only able to play one half, after being replaced by Nacho Fernandez in the 46th minute.

The injury he got was quite serious. In fact, he was still absent when Real Madrid met Espanyol on Saturday, April 30.

“David Alaba has not recovered from his injury and will not be fit to start the match,” wrote Football Espana, Tuesday (3/5/2022).

However, there is still good news from Real Madrid . Two other El Real defenders, Eder Militao and Nacho Fernandez were present at the training session. Previously, both names were absent when facing Espanyol. In fact, Casemiro was lined up as an emergency defender.

Apart from David Alaba, a number of players are also in a worrying condition. Carlo Ancelotti is allegedly going to lose two of his pillars, Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale, who are still doing separate training.
