Chelsea won full points against Newcastle United in the Premier League , Sunday (13/3/2022) night WIB.
The Chelsea vs Newcastle duel at Stamford Bridge stadium, London ended with the score 1-0 for the Blues’ victory – Chelsea’s nickname.
Chelsea’s only goal was scored by Kai Havertz after converting an accurate cross from Jorginho in the 89th minute.
This result makes Chelsea cut the difference in points with Liverpool in second place. They now sit in third place in the Premier League standings with 59 points from 28 matches.

In the second half, Chelsea still struggled to create chances until Timo Werner was fouled in the penalty box in the 60th minute.
However, the referee did not award a penalty to Thomas Tuchel’s team because Werner was considered to have been caught offside earlier.

Chelsea’s awaited goal was finally born in the 89th minute. Kai Havertz managed to break into the Newcastle goal after converting a beautiful cross from Jorginho. The 1-0 score lasted until dispersal.
