Movie Review Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

So far, Marvel fans have known Spider-Man as an orphan. The name is Peter Parker. Who lives with his uncle and aunt. Which, after being bitten by a mutant spider, his fate changes: From a poor teenager to a formidable superhero. However, in this animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, something different is shown: that Spidey is not the only one. It’s not just Peter Parker. Because the main character, this time, is a black boy. His name is Miles Gonzalo Morales.

Miles Morales first appeared in Marvel’s Ultimate Fallout No. 4 (August 2011). The figure created by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli is described as an Afro-Latino teenager of Puerto Rican descent. Interestingly, the inspiration was taken from President Barack Obama and actor Donald Glover.

In this animated film version of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales is voiced by Shameik Moore. He becomes Spider-Man. Replaces Peter Parker (voiced by Chris Pine). Which, it is said, has been killed by the Green Goblin (Jorma Taccone).

Miles Morales himself, it is said, got the power as Spider-Man after being bitten by a spider. Which has been contaminated by serum drawn from Peter Parker’s blood. Created by a scientist from Oscorp.

In this Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales’ version of Spidey is told, he faces an international mafia kingpin: Wilson Fisk. aka Kingpin (Liev Schreiber). Which, usually, becomes Daredevil’s mortal enemy in the Marvel Universe.

In addition to having to face Kingpin, which is also interesting, in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, it is said that Miles Morales is not alone. Because he was helped by many Spider-Man. From various universes. aka the Spider-Verse. The unmitigated number: Five other Spideys will appear in this film! Yes. There are six Spider-Man from six different universes. They all gathered into one. In the Miles Morales universe. The so-called Earth 1610.

The first is Peter Benjamin Parker (Jake Johnson). Who is in his 40s. Who, in fact, was tired of being Spider-Man. In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, it is said, he guides Miles Morales who has just received his spider powers. So as not to die like Peter Parker in his universe.

The second is Spider-Noir (Nicolas Cage). Which, it is said, dates back to the dark 1930s. An era when crime ruled the world. In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the old-school Spidey is shown in an all-black costume.

The third is Spider-Woman (Hailee Steinfeld). The name is Gwen Stacy. Originating from Earth 65. In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, it is said that the high school girl is the daughter of a police officer. Like the other Spideys, he also gains powers after being bitten by a genetically modified spider.

Gwen Stacy’s background in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is indeed different from the original version. In the Marvel comics version, Gwen Stacy is Peter Parker’s first girlfriend. Which, it is said, died when Spidey fought with Electro. As presented in the film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). Starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.

Then, the fourth, a biomechanical robot in the form of Spider-Man: SP //dr. Which, at first glance, resembles Baymax in the animated film Big Hero 6 (2014).
