“MotoGP Only inauguration”, Pol Espargaro returns to KTM but only strengthens the satellite team

The issue of Repsol Honda being looking for a new teammate for Marc Marquez in MotoGP 2023 is getting stronger.

Because according to the Speedweek website , Pol Espargaro has agreed to return to the KTM team. But interestingly, Pol will not join the KTM factory team.

Because the two KTM factory seats already belong to Jack Miller and Brad Binder. This means that Aleix Espargaro’s younger brother will strengthen the KTM Tech 3 satellite team.

Still according to the same source, Pol Espargaro’s move to KTM Tech 3 is just an inauguration.

Not a New Name Pol Espargaro is not a new name for KTM. He once joined the KTM factory team for the period 2017-2020, before accepting Repsol Honda’s proposal for the 2021-2022 MotoGP.

On one occasion, KTM MotoGP officials, Pit Beirer, had indeed opened the option for Pol Espargaro to return to his team.

“Pol still has unfinished work at KTM. Because when the bike started to be competitive, he left us for another manufacturer (Honda), where he pursued his childhood dream,” he continued.

KTM is just looking for Pol’s teammate at KTM Tech 3. It is likely that Remy Gardner will stay.

Remy has not been promising this season, but his talent as a 2021 Moto2 world champion is unquestionable.

While the two factory seats are known to belong to Brad Binder and Jack Miller.
