CinemaMOM will open its doors on Wednesday, September 29, where a new Bond cinema, 007 – No Time to Die, awaits audiences with midnight premieres, Hollywood cult films and iconic concert films.
At CinemaMOM’s “Grand Opening” on Wednesday, September 29, before the midnight premiere of James Bond, starting at 6pm, cult films such as Jurassic Park (1993), Godfather (1972), Back to the Future (1985) ), Apocalpis Now (1979), The Marauders of Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark (1981), Total Recall (1990), Forrest Gump (1994), and Actually Love (2003). Opening day also includes three concert films: the hugely successful Depeche Mode music documentary Spirits in the Forest.(2019), a film about the Queen’s legendary 1986 concert in Budapest, and the very rare, early 1972 concert film Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii . The films are projected with digitally restored image and sound. The selection program can be visited with an armband, which applies to screenings of all cult films and concerts, and can be purchased on site from 4pm on opening day. in dubbed and subtitled versions. Viewers of the midnight screening will be among the first to see the film in Hungary, as the national cinema premiere will only begin on Thursday, September 30. Bond screenings can be attended with standard cinema tickets, tickets for the entire week of premieres are readily available on the cinema’s website and at ticket machines placed at entrances.
Starting Thursday, September 30th, CinemaMOM is open to cinema fans any day of the week. A premium cinema experience is provided by advanced digital projection and sound technology, and viewers can still watch in comfortable seats. The cinema’s ground floor buffet, which also doubles as a bar and cafe, offers a wider menu.
In the weeks following opening, new premieres arrive alongside the adventures of Agent 007, such as Venom 2, Dune, Killer Halloween, or the latest Marvel film, The Eternal,
some of which will be available in the original language or in subtitles. In addition to premieres, his latest blockbuster and digitally renovated Hungarian classic with English subtitles – Poor Scholar Miklós Jancsó , born 100 years ago this year – will also be on display.
