Preview Maryland Episodes 1, 2, and 3
The story for episode 1 is about two sisters, Becca and Rosaline, who respectively live in different cities, Manchester and London. They learn about bad news regarding their mother, Mary. And then they had to go to the Isle of Man, and they found out about their mother that she was hiding a secret about a second life.

The sisters went on to live different lives, and because of that, they were separated from one another more than ever. Old scars are reopened, and tensions surface as they confront their mothers’ secret actions and their astonishment and grief. Despite their mother’s news, they continued to bicker about some previous issues.
The union between Jim and Becca is an institution, but like any institution it has aged with time. Not neglecting Molly, who was stressing out her parents beyond expectation. Meanwhile, Rosaline has to deal with stress due to other health problems that give rise to old phobias. Neither sister can open up to one another while they try to keep their composure.
Mary’s house on the Isle of Man becomes the subject of episode 2’s narrative. While still reeling from the shock of discovering their mother’s infidelities and the reason for her death, Becca and Rosaline come to their new reality. The sisters ask Pete and Cathy for more information when Pete informs them that Mary plans to live permanently on the island.
They attempted to portray a woman that the two sisters couldn’t even identify with. Rosaline’s attempts to contact her father, Richard, are unsuccessful as he won’t talk about Mary’s cause of death, though Rosaline’s emotional tripping allows her to become closer to neighborhood taxi driver Jacob. Becca and Jim is a scene that struggles to connect emotionally. Jim tries to hide Molly’s behavior from Becca and at the same time, he struggles to tell them about what he knows about Mary.

When Cathy was told that Mary was sick, both sisters were devastated. Rosaline makes an uncharacteristic attempt to talk things over with Becca, but she is unsuccessful. When Rosaline leaves the group after a night out at a club in protest of Becca’s absurd behavior, the dynamic reaches a fever pitch. Rosaline accepts Jacob’s help, and their relationship deepens. The morning after the night before, Becca must deal with the consequences and her sister.
When Richard and Jim arrive at Mary’s house in the Isle of Man, Bayview, the events of episode 3 come to an end. As the family tries to heal their differences and forge new bonds, the consequences of Mary’s actions are still being felt.
