Marvel Announces Marvel Snap, Superhero Card Game For Mobile

As a well-known comics and film company, Marvel certainly has a variety of interesting hero characters to bring to the realm of video games. Recently they have announced their newest game called Marvel Snap.

Marvel collaborated with a game developer called Second Dinner, to develop this one game. Second Dinner itself is a company created by Ben Brode and Hamilton Chu, who are the brains behind the world’s best card called Hearthstone .

This game will be considered to have a mechanic similar to Hearthstone . For example, with the duration of the game being very fast, Second Dinner said that one match would last less than two minutes.

Second Dinner will cooperate with NuVerse, as the party that will publish this card game. According to Kotaku , Second Dinner received funding of US$ 30 million to develop this game.

This game is planned to be released for Android, iOS, and PC. There is currently no definite date regarding when this game will be released to the market. However, it is reported that Second Dinner has sent several invitations to players to try this game in closed beta .

According to news circulating, Marvel Snap will use a free-to-play format so that players don’t have to pay a penny to play this game. At least there will be more than 150 cards to choose from, when this game launches later.
