Marcus Rashford reveals new facts at Manchester United, doesn’t like being a centre-forward

Manchester United (MU) striker Marcus Rashford revealed his favorite position in the Red Devils attack line. Apparently, he claimed to be more comfortable playing as a wing striker.

The position he means is taking a role on the left side of the MU attack rather than playing in the middle.

As is well known, at the beginning of this season Manchester United experienced problems in their attack line. Many of their attackers fell due to injuries.

As a result, Erik Ten Hag decided to try Marcus Rashford as a center forward. Ten Hag’s experiment proved to be quite accurate.

The striker has scored five goals for Manchester United so far. He scored two goals against Omonia this morning.

More Comfortable on the Left After the game against Omonia, BT Sports asked Rashford if he felt comfortable playing as a centre-forward.

The forward admits he is more comfortable playing on the left, although he has no problem playing in the middle either.

Rashford insists he doesn’t mind playing in the middle at all. He assesses his ability to play in the midst of his team’s need.

He said that throughout this season the MU squad would be faced with a lot of injuries. So he must be prepared with all the possibilities that exist.

“We never know when our team gets injured. So I have to be ready wherever the manager wants me to play and I am happy to be able to help our team,” he added.

Back to Original Position So far, Marcus Rashford has always been Erik ten Hag’s first choice as Manchester United’s pounding interpreter.

Rashford himself will most likely return to the left wing post after this. Because the tandem has now recovered.

Anthony Martial has recovered from injury, and the French forward is likely to be paired at the helm of the Red Devils.
