Management Clarification News Jimin BTS Apartment Confiscated


A number of Korean media recently discussed the news that Jimin BTS ‘s apartment was almost confiscated due to insurance premium problems. BigHit Music, as management, finally clarified the news.
First reported by Biz Hankook, the Yongsan branch of the National Health Insurance Service reportedly confiscated Jimin’s apartment in Nine One Hannam, Seoul on January 25. This was because the musician was late in paying the arrears of health insurance premiums.

Based on the report, Jimin has received four foreclosure warning letters. However, the confiscation order was finally lifted after Jimin finally paid off the arrears of health insurance premiums on April 22, 2022.

Regarding this news, BigHit Music finally gave a clarification. They admitted that the warning letter was first submitted to the management.

At the end of the statement, BigHit Music also apologized for the negligence made by the company that made Jimin and fans worried about the news circulating in the media.
