But Guardiola, who left neither Gabriel Jesus nor Raheem Sterling off the bench in search of a winner, refused to criticize his side after they again failed to penetrate Patrick Vieira’s clever defence.
In the previous match, Palace recorded a 2-0 win in the match at the Etihad Stadium.
“There are still a lot of games to play, we have to win a lot of games but the way we played, no regrets about the team. We would have preferred to win of course but the game was played well”.
He added: “We played a very good game. In 90 minutes we conceded a few mistakes, but the way we played was very good.
“People are playing well, that’s why I didn’t make changes. We didn’t score, it was his fault”.
I am very happy with the performance and the way we played.”
There were at least two factors that caused Manchester City to fail to score in their 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
