Mooney VR46 Racing Team racer, Luca Marini, ensures that Valentino Rossi will monitor his racers directly in the paddock in MotoGP 2022. However, Luca Marini does not know when this will be done by Rossi.
MotoGP 2022 feels different than usual. This season will be the first race that will not be followed by Valentino Rossi , who has decided to retire in 2021.
Valentino Rossi also missed the Mandalika 2022 MotoGP race. In fact, Rossi has a large fan base in Indonesia.
Even though he’s retired, Rossi doesn’t want to stay away from MotoGP. According to Luca Marini, the man nicknamed The Doctor will have a regular agenda by attending the Mooney VR46 Racing Team ‘s paddock .
“I don’t know when he will come. However, I believe he will do three to four races this year. Maybe more,” said Luca Marini as quoted by Motosan .
Luca Marini hopes that the presence of Valentino Rossi in the paddock can bring miracles to Mooney VR46 Racing Team. The Italian racer can’t wait for the presence of Rossi, who is still mysterious in what series.
“We want to see if his presence in the paddock can do something special and give us a little magic. As he always had during the race,” said the Italian.
Favorite Circuit – Luca Marini also enthusiastically welcomes back to the Mandalika Circuit. According to Valentino Rossi ‘s protege , the track that will hold the Mandalika 2022 MotoGP has a good design and supports the performance of the motorbike.
“I’m happy to be back in Indonesia. This is a track that I like. The layout is really amazing. I really enjoyed it during the test,” said Luca Marini.
Not maximal – Valentino Rossi‘s student duo, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, recorded unsatisfactory results in the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP free practice session. In the first free practice session (FP1), Bezzecchi finished 20th and Marini 22nd.
As for the second free practice session (FP2), the performance of the two was not fully maximized. Bezzecchi managed to finish 15th, while Marini was last.
Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi still have time to show off their skills in the third free practice session (FP3) and the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP Qualification session. This activity will be held on Saturday (19/3/2022) at the Mandalika Circuit.
