Liverpool Must Be Alert, Here’s Kevin De Bruyne’s Ambition!

Kevin De Bruyne voiced his ambition to help Manchester City go as well as possible in the remainder of the competition this season. After the international break, Man City will face tough matches.

Currently the league will be suspended for the next two weeks or so. Man City have time to breathe and prepare the team for a tough schedule.

Imagine, Man City’s schedule in April will prove to be filled with tough matches as follows:

2/4/2022 | Burnley vs Man City (EPL)
6/4/2022 | Man City vs Atletico Madrid (UCL)
10/4/2022 | Man City vs Liverpool (EPL)
14/4/2022 |Atletico vs Man City (UCL)
16/4/2022 | Man City vs Liverpool (FA Cup)
The series of five matches will be difficult. Moreover, the fate of Man City in three competitions will be at stake in a short time

It will be very difficult
Man City deserves to be called one of the best teams in the world today. So, the busy schedule should not be a big problem for Guardiola’s men.

De Bruyne himself insists that they are ready to give their best and get good results in every game. Man City will try to aim for the treble winners.

“We want to win every game, that’s our target at the start of every season. We failed in the Carabao cup, but we are still alive in the other three competitions,” said De Bruyne.

Every game is special and we will try to win it [the treble]. We always want to win, so we really want to be in this position.”

Champion ambition
The next two games against Liverpool will be very important for Man City. One in the league, another in the FA Cup semi-finals. Especially for the FA Cup, De Bruyne has a special ambition due to the failure of the last two years.

“We’ve always been there [Wembley] and played a semi-final every season with Pep Guardiola, except for one season [2017-18],” continued De Bruyne.

Even though sometimes we don’t win, we are always there and fighting in the game.”
