The prestigious event in the television sector, the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards was finally completed on Monday (20/9/2021) morning Indonesian time. Held in the outdoor LA Live complex, the event was hosted by Cedric The Entertainer.
There are a number of titles that stand out in this event. Reporting from Variety , one of them is the Netflix series about the British Royal family, The Crown . In total, the series won 11 trophies, including the prestigious Best Drama Series category. Its stars swept the acting field nominations for drama series.
Variety also notes that thanks to this drama as well as The Queen’s Gambit , Netflix took home a total of 44 Emmy Awards, the most from any other TV station or platform. This figure comes from 34 wins at the Creative Arts Emmy and another 10 at the Primetime Emmy.

The red carpet for the 2021 Emmy Awards was enlivened by the colorful fashions of world celebrities. The 73rd award event took place at LA LIVE, Los Angeles, California, United States on Sunday, September 19, 2021, local time.
The Emmy Awards were mostly held virtually in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions. But this year, face-to-face events can be held even though attendance is limited to around 600 guests.

1. Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor-Joy appeared on the Emmys red carpet in a backless Dior gown with a yellow cape. The halter-neck dress features a diamanté detail on the back.
The style matches the earrings of The Queen’s Gambit star . Her hair is styled in a dramatic updo . Anya Taylor-Joy’s appearance was enhanced with her trademark red lipstick.
2. Michaela Coel
Michaela Coel wore two custom two-pieces from Christopher John Rogers. The look consists of a sulfur-yellow column skirt , made of cotton twill and silk organza, with a matching bralette .
The writer and lead actor of the BBC drama series I May Destroy You also wore pointed yellow heels . Accessories are also used, starting from diamond necklaces, and statement earrings to complete the look.
3. Billy Porter
Billy Porter appeared in a custom black Ashi featuring wide trousers, black gloves and dramatic winged sleeves. Porter told reporters his wings should have reached the floor, but “it didn’t work”.
“But I prefer this,” he said.
The 51-year-old wears Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, including a large diamond-studded necklace and full ear cuffs. She completed her look with an emerald green clutch bag .
4. Jurnee Smollett
The tiered strapless gown , crafted from light silk, was complemented by Bulgari jewelery and Christian Louboutin platform heels .
5. Emma Corrin
Emma Corrin arrived wearing a custom yellow Miu Miu gown with a matching hat and pointed heels. Her look was complemented by a sharp black manicure that contrasted sharply with the pastel colors of her dress. She appeared with minimal makeup with rosy blush and nude lips .
6. Josh O’Connor
Josh O’Connor wore a look from Loewe. The suit featured a black tailcoat with a leather collar and matching black trousers and leather shoes. He told reporters on the red carpet that he had chosen to wear a black flower around his neck in lieu of a bow tie.
