Levante Vs Barcelona Results: Drama 3 Penalties and De Jong’s Late Goal, Barca Wins 3-2

The Levante vs Barcelona match in the continuation of the top competition of the Spanish League , La Liga, ended in victory for the visitors.

Four minutes later, Levante got another penalty. But this time, Roger Marti’s execution failed to become a goal. Roger’s kick was thwarted by Barca goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang led Barcelona to equalize with his goal in the 59th minute, using Ousmane Dembele’s pass. In the 63rd minute, Barca were able to turn things around. Gavi’s pass completed by Pedri.

Pedri’s goal made the visitors now turn 2-1 ahead. Seven minutes of the second half remaining, the drama happened again. For the third time, Levante got a penalty.

This time, Gonzalo Melero took the penalty, who came on for Jose Campana in the second half.

Melero’s penalty kick beat Ter Stegen.

The score is now tied at 2-2. When the match at Ciutat de Valencia seemed to be ending with the same score, Luuk de Jong emerged as a Barcelona hero.

In the second half of injury time , 90+2 minutes to be exact, De Jong scored against Levante with a flying header to welcome Jordi Alba’s cross.

Luuk de Jong’s goal also locked the victory of Xavi Hernandez’s troops. The final score, Barcelona successfully beat Levante with a score of 3-2.
