Kim Woo Bin Reveals Current Conditions After 5 Years of Vacuum due to Cancer


Actor Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017. After that, the actor underwent treatment and decided to take a hiatus from the entertainment world.
Kim Woo Bin last appeared on screen before being diagnosed with cancer in 2016, via Uncontrollably Fond. He then underwent treatment and was declared cured in 2019.

After that, the actor returned to greet fans through the Korean drama Our Blues in 2022. The Korean drama stars a number of top actresses and actors, including his girlfriend, Shin Min Ah.

Besides Our Blues, Kim Woo Bin has also been confirmed to star in two films. Namely, Wiretap and Alienoid.

While undergoing promotions for the film Alienoid, Kim Woo Bin also talked about his current condition. Five years after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, the actor now admits that he is feeling much better.

“It would be really nice if I could tell you my condition in percentage, just like my character in the movie,” said Kim Woo Bin.

“But, really, I’m currently feeling much better and healthier than before.”

Kim Woo Bin recently admitted to undergoing an examination exactly five years after he was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. The doctor who treated the actor said his condition is now much better.

“Last Tuesday was exactly five years since I underwent treatment. So I went to the doctor for a checkup,” explained Kim Woo Bin.

“The doctor who treated me also said I was in much better condition than before,” he added.

On the same occasion, Kim Woo Bin also revealed the changes he experienced after being diagnosed with cancer and declared cured. He admits that he currently has a different view of life.

“In the past, I lived for the future. I worked hard to have a better body in the future. When I didn’t sleep for work, I did everything so that I could have a better job in the future,” said Kim Woo Bin . .

“When I think about my future life, I torment myself in the present. But now, I’m trying to live the life I’m living in the present. I’m trying to enjoy my life right now. I’m trying to focus more on the people around me. in front of me right now. It has helped me reduce stress. Eventually, I learned how to love the work I do and live the life I love.”
