Jurgen Klopp’s advice for Darwin Nunez who is still barren at Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reiterated that Darwin Nunez was not a failed purchase for his team. Although not yet considered a success, Klopp believes Nunez can shine as long as he listens to his advice.

In the transfer market last summer, Liverpool decided to make a big investment. They poured more than 100 million Euros to secure the services of Darwin Nunez from Benfica.

But so far Liverpool’s investment looks like a fraudulent investment. Because the Uruguayan striker is still struggling to show his ability as an elite striker.

Klopp said that there were several things that made Nunez unable to bring out his best abilities. “I think Nunez said himself that he was burdened with the price tag and so on,” said Jurgen Klopp , quoted by The Mirror . ( Special Talent ) Klopp believes that Nunez is not Liverpool ‘s failed purchase . Because he saw for himself the quality of the striker.

He said Nunez showed a slick performance in the training session. So he just needs to practice what he does in actual matches.

“This kid has very good movement. If you saw his finishing in our training session you would think ‘Oh my God!’,” Klopp continued.

(Must Be Calm) Klopp thinks there is one thing that can make Nunez find his sharpness again in the Reds attack line.

He wants the striker to be calmer when he is in the opponent’s penalty box, because he thinks if Nunez is calm he can score many goals for Liverpool.

“He just needs to calm himself down. In the game, sometimes he is too hasty in shooting. He just needs to be calmer and maximize his finishing,” he emphasized.
