Jurgen Klopp Upset, Liverpool Had Lost Direction When Slaughter MU 7-0

Jurgen Klopp admitted that in the first half his team did not play well enough to open several openings for Manchester United to steal goals.
“We played aggressively and calmly at the right time. However, for 25 minutes our defense was open and United were a bit better to create chances,” said Klopp.
Apart from this, Klopp praised the first goal scored by Cody Gakpo in the final minutes of the first half. The tactician considered the goal to be very important and something the team really needed before half-time.
“Then there was a goal just before half-time and it was a great goal,” said the bespectacled coach. “Robbo (Robertson) cut inside and Cody (Gakpo) realized that Robbo wanted to give the ball to him and managed to finish well,” he continued.
