Jujutsu Kaisen is finally making noise among casual anime fans in Latin America. This is the best order to live the experience.
It is a pleasant surprise, Jujutsu Kaisen little by little has become an anime that has managed to position itself as one of the most recent favorites among the community of casual viewers of this type of production.
In the world of manga and anime, a relatively curious phenomenon has been experienced for decades, which has been gradually adapting its peculiar dynamics with the birth of new technologies.
Streaming platforms and online forums have brutally reduced the times in which a new anime or manga finally arrives on this side of the continent from Japan.
But even so, a curious but real phenomenon is that there are so many productions that inevitably some connect faster with local audiences than others.
Jujutsu Kaisen and the most recommended order to see this story
Some properties like Dragon Ball or even Sailor Moon still retain great weight and presence in the casual otaku community. But in recent months Jujutsu Kaisen has gained special strength and popularity in Latin America.
It is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Gege Akutami that launched its first issue around March 5, 2018 in Shueisha’s Shukan Shonen Jump magazine.
The publication has not stopped since then and currently already accumulates more than 20 volumes, at the same time that since 2019 the MAPPA studio began production of the anime adaptation.
The first episodes were released in October 2020, 24 chapters were animated and the second season will be released by 2023.
There is a long way to go. So here we share the most suitable order to consult this work still in process. Mixing both the anime and the other available formats:
1. Jujutsu Kaisen temporada 1 del anime
Season 1 of the anime, as we already shared, is made up of 24 episodes and is currently available on Crunchyroll.
It is ideal to get hooked and know the generalities. If you are reading this note, it is likely that you have already finished it.
If that’s the case then immediately jump to the manga, to chapter 64 of volume 8. To see what they will return to in the second season.
2. Second: The Star Plasma Vessel arc in the manga – followed by Jujutsu Kaisen 0
The second arc spans from chapter 64 to 78, and at this point things start to get messy. Since it is best to stop reading the manga at this point and then jump to the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 animated movie.
It is a prequel to the first season and if we follow this order we will be able to understand much better the origin and history of our main characters.
3. The Shibuya Incident arc with the rest of the manga
Interrupting the reading of the manga after chapter 78 is more than recommended to fully enjoy the rest of the arcs and get more involved with the characters.
The other works that are not part of the direct canon can be consulted at any point, but we recommend doing it from here.
