JAY B Just Launches His First Solo Album B.T.W.

Entertaiment, News

Wow, wow! I feel like we have to wait on this one too long. But also Jaebeom was one of the last seven people to announce his new label, so it makes sense. Una and I have read several interviews by this man and it seems like he is always struggling and carrying all the burdens and that GOT7 is almost dead but oh well. I mean the guy is technically on the same label as Yugyeom and neither of them can give us a collaboration aka a simple JUS2 comeback, paint me salty. We’ll see what happens in the future, maybe we get a new GOT7 song before the world burns or humanity finally collapses. Oops, I’m really in the mood this week, huh? Sorry I tried here. Let’s get into the review...

BY THE WAY. exactly what I hoped it would sound like a Jay B solo especially since it was produced by Cha Cha Malone. Groovy, r’n’b, and sexy lyrics. BY THE WAY. is all that is here and working. Una and I are trash for r&b, so you know we’re going to eat this. I have to say for now I’m enjoying the single Switch It Up more but B.T.W. is a good song. It gets the job done, it’s charming and Jay Park is a sweet addition, the man’s voice is so recognizable and I’ve been obsessed with his stuff lately, no shame. Honestly, if you had told me a year ago we were going to get a GOT7 x Jay Park collaboration, I would have called you crazy. The way things turned out was crazy...

Apart from B.T.W. we got four more new songs on SOMO:FUME. One of them is AM PM featuring my queen Wheein, who seems to be thriving after leaving RBW. Good for him. I’m not sure why but Fame featuring JUNNY was supposed to be the second title of the EP but my Apple Music keeps deleting it from my phone. Homophobia in my opinion. This song is a lot of fun and I always love the good JUNNY features. The rest of the album is also pretty solid.

Music video for B.T.W. very funny please this guy can’t do anything wrong. Also SOMO:FUME feels like DefSoul’s SoundCloud but improved and I’m here for it...
