AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer has proven his loyalty. Namely that he clearly wants to spend a career as a football player at the Rossoneri.
The Danish player has revealed that he wants to retire at the San Siro. The 32 – year – old player is firmly at home playing for Milan .
It is known, Kjaer has just extended his contract at Milan for at least the next two years.
Maybe I can play for Milan for 15 years. Maybe I can also end my career here, “explained Simon Kjaer as reported by the Italian Football, Thursday (11/11/2021).
“I appreciate it, also because Milan’s policy is to renew only one year with players older than 30.”
The former AS Roma player admitted it was difficult if he had to turn to another club. In fact, he gives an idea that AC Milan is the perfect team for him.
“Everything suits me very well, like our teammates, the coach and our style of play,” he said
“This is the perfect club for me. My son and wife are happy in Milan,” said Kjaer.
Simon Kjaer joined the Rossoneri on a permanent contract from Atalanta in January 2020. He has played 68 games for the Rossoneri, scoring one goal.
It was quite interesting when Simon Kjaer was included in the list of 30 people for the Ballon d’Or. In June, Kjaer saved the life of Christian Eriksen who fell unconscious during Denmark’s match against Finland at Euro 2020.
Kjaer was the first to see Eriksen collapse on the pitch. Then gave him life-saving assistance before the arrival of the doctor who gave him treatment.
