Chelsea failed to win at home to Burnley. The failure left Kai Havertz extremely frustrated.
Chelsea face Burnley in the Premier League match week 11 2021/22, Saturday (6/11/2021). The Blues were held 1-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea took the lead through Kai Havertz in the 33rd minute. However, Burnley were able to equalize in the 79th minute through a goal from Matej Vydra.
Chelsea appeared very dominant in the match against Burnley. They recorded possession of the ball by 69.8 percent compared to the Clarets with 30.2 percent.
The Blues also pounded Burnley with 25 shots, four of which were on target. Meanwhile, Burnley only made 5 attempts with two on goal.
After the match, Havertz was angered by Burnley’s performance. The German player accused Burnley of not wanting to play football.
“In the last seven games, I think we’ve been really good, including today,” Haverts told NBC Sports.
“We know that Burnley are not a team that wants to play football. But yes, they had one chance and scored.
“We had a lot of chances but also only scored one goal, so we lost two big points. Of course, it’s frustrating.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel felt his team had performed quite well against Burnley. However, he felt that Sean Dyche’s side were lucky to be able to steal a point.
“It was a fantastic 90 minutes when you look at his performance. That can only happen in football,” said Tuchel.
“But we had a fantastic game. Of course I was disappointed. Today we didn’t win it.”

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel considers Burnley very lucky to be able to hold his team in this match. The reason, the Blues appear dominant throughout the 90 minutes.
“Burnley were very lucky to draw, but that’s football,” Thomas Tuchel told Chelsea’s official website.
“We were very lucky to keep a clean sheet at Brentford. That’s why everyone loves the game.
I like their attitude. I like the intensity. I like the level of concentration.
Despite failing to achieve full points, Tuchel said he was satisfied with the performance of his team. According to him the players have done well in this match.
“So it was a fantastic effort and a fantastic performance. I’m very happy,” he continued.
It can happen in football where sometimes, unfortunately like today, other people steal some points. As I said, we were lucky at Brentford to qualify with a clean sheet.
