Erun Steelguard, descendant of a prestigious family, turns out to be a failure. He was finally conned and lost all wealth and prestige, and now his life is almost over because he was tortured by an assassin sent by his enemy, Knuts.
Unlike his grandfather Lazekan Steelguard, who is a myth ranked knight, and his father, Levadan Steelguard, who is a heroic ranked knight, he eventually becomes only a 3rd class knight and is held responsible for the downfall of the great Steelguard family.
During his final moments before being tortured to death by the killer, the Bookmark of Wish, one of the many items he thinks he has been tricked into buying, activates. As all conditions were met, he made a wish, but Erun was no longer in the right mental state, so instead he granted his 3 most wanted wishes and sent him 17 years into the past. After being given another chance, he decides to straighten himself out and work hard to avoid a miserable fate in his previous life.
The final chapter of the series ends with a cliffhanger when a newly summoned demon ‘unexpectedly’ begins to regenerate from Erun’s Aura Sword, an attack which puts him on par with hero rank knights. Fans are eagerly waiting for chapter 96 of this series to be released.

This chapter begins with Dyrica revealing herself to be the one behind using Andrade to create false testimonies and dragging Erun into the whole situation. He still holds a grudge against Erun and says it is a knight’s duty to avenge his master and that he can do even worse. Little did he know that the entire conversation had been recorded, and he had fallen into Erun’s trap, and now he would be walking the same execution ground as Andrade.
Dyrica knew that she stood no chance against Erun if it came down to fighting, because Erun’s abilities were so far above her that she couldn’t even estimate his level with her Mana Evaluation Technique. Desperate to think of a way to escape, he kills Gaian, who just so happens to appear at this inopportune moment. Blaming Erun as the mastermind behind his assassination, he incites members of his squad against Erun, believing he will be able to defeat him with the advantage in numbers.
As expected, Erun made quick work of them. Taking advantage of the chaos their fight caused, Andrade freed himself from his restraints and immediately summoned a demon by sacrificing all the bodies lying around. And thus, the battle between the newly summoned devil and Erun the knight began.
