For the sake of Children’s School, the Cast of Mary Jane Wants to Join the MCU!

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios finally made fans’ wishes come true with Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). Fans can finally see how Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s versions of Spider-Man act in one film. Unfortunately, Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy, Maguire and Garfield’s version of Spider-Man’s love interest, did not appear in No Way Home.

After No Way Home was released, last February, the Mary Jane actor, Kirsten Dunst, had expressed her desire to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Dunst seems serious about returning to play Mary Jane in the MCU. The proof, he again talked about his desire in his latest interview.

Reported by Backstage, Dunst said, “You know, I want to join the multiverse (MCU). I feel like I’m the only one who hasn’t joined yet. I was like, ‘Please enter me. Put me there.’ I have to pay for my house and children.”

Don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean Dunst’s career as an actress has stalled. The proof, Dunst is nominated for the “Best Supporting Actress” Oscar 2022 thanks to her appearance in the film The Power of the Dog (2021). You can watch Dunst’s performance in the film via Netflix.

Marvel Studios will indeed explore the multiverse in MCU phase 4. Moreover, we will later see the madness of the multiverse through the next MCU film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With the multiverse concept in the MCU, of course there is a possibility that Dunst’s version of Mary Jane will appear in the next Spider-Man film or other MCU projects.
