Finally..Valentino Rossi Feels The Highest Podium With His Brother, Luca Marini

Valentino Rossi finally feels the sweetness of being on the highest podium. Indeed, not in the MotoGP race where the racer has decided to retire at the end of the 2021 season.

However, Valentino Rossi finished first in the 100 Km dei Campioni race which took place at his Ranch in Tavullia, Italy.

The 100 KM dei Campioni event is just a fun race made by Valentino Rossi. But when he finished first in pairs with his younger brother, Luca Marini, he had to fight many great racers.

Using a ‘scratch’ motorbike, the duo Valentino Rossi and Luca Marini had to meet the names of retired and active MotoGP racers.

Call it Jorge Lorenzo, Alex Rins to Maverick Vinales. This means that even though it’s just a fun race, the quality of this event is very well maintained and Valentino Rossi proves that he is still competitive.

Next Car Racing
The question now arises. After winning the 100 KM dei Campioni event, what other racing event will Valentino Rossi participate in ?

Citing the Corsedimoto website , Valentino Rossi will stage an endurance car race, the 12 Hours of the Gulf at the Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi.

In this event, he will collaborate with his younger brother, Luca Marini and his best friend, Alessio Salucci. Of course Valentino Rossi is very familiar with this event because he has been following it for the last few years.

Initially the La 100 Km Dei Campioni or the 100 Km of Champions race at Valentino Rossi ‘s ranch was only an entertainment event and was followed by VR46 academy racers.

However, for the 2021 edition which will take place on December 4-5, the names of the riders who were invited by Valentino Rossi to take part in the La 100 Km Dei Campioni event are getting more luxurious.

Two VR46 academy riders, Pecco Bagnaia and Franco Morbidelli are absent because they are recovering conditions to be fit for the 2022 MotoGP.

But instead, La 100 Km Dei Campioni will be followed by the names of drivers such as Jorge Lorenzo, Alex Rins, to Maverick Vinales.

Several other racer names outside the VR46 academy are also top names. For example, Tito Rabat, Iker Lecuona, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and Jake Dixon will be present.

The Most Interesting Jorge Lorenzo
But of the many names, the presence of Jorge Lorenzo in the 100 Km of Champions race sparked the most attention.

Because as is known, Jorge Lorenzo had a bad relationship with Valentino Rossi when they were both mentas in the MotoGP event. It’s just that the invitation of Jorge Lorenzo indicates that the relationship between the two drivers has melted.

“What a pleasure to be in the 100 km of the Champion and race on that dream track! I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun! Thank you Vale for the invitation, you’re great!,” wrote Jorge Lorenzo on Instagram.
