The three Spider-Mans are back together, but not for a shoot but a re-creation of one of the most iconic memes.
Actually Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield posed for the ultimate photoshoot to promote the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home 4K and digital streaming.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is also predicted to reap large amounts of money after it managed to become the highest-grossing film in the pandemic era with $11.7 billion or Rp. 167 trillion globally.
The meme depicts three animated Spider-Mans pointing at each other – a scene from the 1960s Spider-Man cartoon, which featured the original superhero and two con artists.
The photo has also become one of the most popular memes on the internet to describe satire or jokes.
According to an interview with Holland for IndieWire, the one who suggested the shoot was Andrew Garfield. He invited them to do it as a tribute to a joke while filming No Way Home.
Spider-Man fans of course begged them.
“Now remove the poster,” wrote one fan.
The third installment in the Marvel blockbuster, starring Tom Holland as the spider-man hero, it is the highest-grossing Spider-Man film in history and was nominated for Best Visual Effects at this year’s Oscars.
Previously, it was stated that Kevin Feige had predicted this success, but Benedict Cumberbatch doubted it.
“I think when Kevin Feige first said, ‘We’ll know about the future of cinema, or the cinema experience, after this movie,’ I was like, ‘Okay, everybody’s drinking too much Kool-Aid around here. appeared,” he said.
It turns out that Cumberbatch isn’t the only star who doesn’t believe the film’s predictions. The main star himself, Tom Holland, also expressed his surprise at the success of the blockbuster No Way Home.
