Ready to be Happy
For those who travel to Qatar, it will certainly be more ‘hot’ again. Watching your favorite team and idol stars in action, of course, is an invaluable expensive experience.
At least, there will be 1.2 million football fans who will pour out in Qatar. The local committee has prepared precise moves to pamper the fans.
One of them is by holding what they call the Fan Festival. This is actually not a new celebration at FIFA’s fourth annual football party.
The first time the Fan Festivals took place was when they were held in Germany during the 2006 World Cup and continued to South Africa, Brazil and the 2018 Russia World Cup.
In Qatar later, there are fan zones located throughout Doha. Therefore, the fans can feel the euphoria of the World Cup. Where exactly? Check out the place below.
Al Bidda Park
Al Bidda Park will host the largest fan zone in Qatar. Spanning an area of 500,000 square meters, it is estimated that it can accommodate more than one million visitors during the World Cup.
Each World Cup match will be played and on rest days fans can still visit the venue to enjoy music by local artists.
Inside the fan zone, there will be a food court with local and international cuisine. In addition, fans can experience playing football both physically and digitally at the game station. Entrance to the place is free. Free boss!
Hayya Fan Zone
The Hayya Fan Zone is the second choice for fans to experience the World Cup which will be held at the Lusail Marina Promenade. Entry is absolutely free.
So don’t stress just yet. In this fan zone it can accommodate 3500 people at once.
Qetai-Fan Beach Fest
The third choice for fans is the Qetai-Fan Beach Fest, which will be held on Qtaifan Island North. As many as 30,000 people at once will be able to watch the match, plus enjoy Qatar’s beautiful winter weather.
Well, for those of you who really already have tickets to Qatar 2022, don’t ever miss the fun outside the stadium. The fan zone can be the main alternative when you are tired of being in the stadium, or you don’t have tickets to watch live.
