
Eternals will have a huge impact on the future of the MCU, according to Chloé Zhao
The directors of Eternals believe that the events of the film will profoundly affect the future of the MCU.
Looking at Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings, the next promise we have with the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen is Eternals, the chorus film that
Chloé Zhao, from the Oscar winner for Best Director for Nomadland (who also won a statuette for Best Picture) is in charge of directing the Marvel films.
Speaking to Total Film, Zhao has assured that Eternals will have a major impact on future events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though of course he hasn’t gone into details. You already know that confidentiality at Marvel Studios is the law in interviews.
The director has said that, while Eternals is a film that can be viewed independently of perfectly, its consequences will be felt throughout the MCU. And we must not forget that the power controlled by these creatures and their mortal enemies, the Deviants, is no small feat.
