Afterlife of the Party (September 2)
The story in Afterlife of the Party centers on an unlucky girl named Cassie (Victoria Justice). When he was 25 years old, he threw a big party for fun, Cassie was found dead in the toilet.
After that, Cassie meets an angel who tells her that she is likely to go to hell, but gets a chance to atone for her sins. The way that he can go to heaven is to make amends for all the wrongs he has done to his mother, father, and friends.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is the latest film by Marvel Studios which tells the story of an Asian superhero named Shang-Chi (Simu Liu).
He must confront his past, including his father and a mysterious dragon called Fin Fang Foom, before he can join an organization called the Ten Rings.
Besides Simu Liu, this film also features other top artists, such as Tony Leung, Awkwafina, and Michele Yeoh. Unlike the previous Marvel film, Black Widow , which was scheduled to hit theaters starting September 3 instead of Disney+.
Maglinant (September 10)
Malignant is the latest work from director James Wan who is behind popular horror films such as Saw (2004) and The Conjuring (2013).
The film tells the story of Madison Mitchell (Annabelle Wallis) who often gets visions of a murder scene. Each day the vision got worse, even starting to affect his childhood memory.
It is these childhood memories that ultimately make Madison even more chaotic. The sight and imagination of the murder tormented him even more. In order to survive this chaos, Madison must go into her past.
My Little Pony: New Generation (September 23)
My Little Pony is an animated film that tells the story of the adventures of colorful little ponies who fight against evil. My Little Pony: A New Generation is a sequel film that will tell the adventures of Sunny who meets a dangerous unicorn named Izzy. Izzy himself tries to reunite the horse races.
The film is directed by directors Robert Cullen and Jose Ucha, starring Vanessa Hudgens, Kimiko Glenn, James Marsden, and Phil LaMarr as voice actors.
Dear Evan Hansen (September 24)
Dear Evan Hansen is a musical genre film inspired by the book of the same name. Told a teenager named Evan Hansen (Ben Platt) is a loner and suffers from anxiety disorders. One time, he got an assignment from his therapist to write a letter to himself.
However, the letter that Evan wrote was taken by Connor Murphy (Colton Ryan). At first Evan ignores him, but things get complicated when Connor turns out to be suicidal.
The letter he stole was found in his pocket. This caused Connor’s parents to think that Evan and Connor were close friends.
Not wanting to make Connor’s parents sadder, Evan pretended to be Connor’s best friend and became close to his family.
