Bobby Holland Hanton’s name is already well-known in Hollywood. This 33-year-old man has a long career as a stuntman. Since he was young he has been pursuing gymnastics.

Thanks to his persistence, Bobby was named a National Squad Member and National Gold Medalist for Great Britain. He has also won gold medals in France, Russia, USA and Ukraine training camps.

When he was 17 years old, Bobby Holland Hanton also entered the world of football. He became a semi-professional footballer for Fareham Town FC at the age of 19. However, because Bobby has a gymnast background, he didn’t take football seriously until he was 19 years old.

After undergoing the world of football, Bobby then turned to the world of entertainment. He started his career by appearing in several TV shows, adidas commercials, Pepsi, 2013 New Ford B MAX car and many more. This is where Bobby finally decided to focus on his career as a stuntman.

At the age of 23 years, Bobby Holland Hanton for the first time appeared as a stuntman in the film James Bond: Quantum of Solace (2008). From there, his career started as a stuntman in Hollywood.

His efforts to become a stuntman do require a lot of sacrifice. But now all his efforts have paid off.

To date, Bobby has appeared in dozens of films with characters such as Josh Brolin, Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, Jeremy Irons, John Hurt, Christoph Waltz, Harrison Ford, Robert Downey Jr., and many more.

In an interview with local radio in Australia, Bobby told of his difficulties while accompanying the Thor actor. It’s not fighting scenes or dangerous action, but following Chris Hemsworth’s diet which is his biggest difficulty.

To get in shape like Liam Hemsworth’s brother , Bobby was forced to eat seven times a day and it was very torturous. He also mentioned that Chris Hemsworth’s appearance was the fattest Thor ever.

Bobby also admitted that he and Chris Hemsworth both made big sacrifices to be able to look perfect according to the superhero storyline.

Even the man who is currently busy filming Thor: Love and Thunder admits that he has to eat every two hours.

“Every two hours we have to eat. It becomes an obligation. I can’t enjoy my food at all if every two hours I have to do it,” he said.

He also praised Chris Hemsworth’s physical fitness, according to him it was very difficult to keep up with the actor, especially in terms of body shape.

“I just realized that it was difficult for me to move when I was overweight, especially in my ligaments. But he was fine, he was very tough like a mountain,” said Bobby.

Bobby Holland Hanton has been a stunt double for Chris Hemsworth since the 2013 film Thor: The Dark World. Not only that, he also followed the actor when he appeared in the film Extraction last year.

Even during the shooting of the film, he had an injury to his back that had to be operated on while performing a 12-minute non-stop fighting scene in the film.

He also complained about how difficult it was to get life and health insurance for a stunt double.

“That is a very difficult thing to get,” he concluded.
