Netflix will present a new Korean drama titled The Sound of Magic . Airing May 6, 2022, this Korean drama stars Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, to Hwang In Yeop.

Not long ago, Netflix released the first trailer ahead of its release. In the trailer, viewers are increasingly shown a clear picture of the narrative, visuals, and relationships between the three main characters, namely Ri Eul (Ji Chang Wook), Yoo Ah Yi (Choi Sung Eun), and Na Il Deung (Hwang In Yeop). .

Through the third meeting, The Sound of Magic gives a universal message about the true meaning of growing up which is presented through a mysterious and magical story.

Regarding his role in The Sound of Magic, Ji Chang Wook said the character Ri Eul he played would make the audience curious.

“Ri Eul is a mysterious character who will certainly spark the audience’s curiosity. The line between right and wrong becomes blurred in Ri Eul’s eyes because he builds, as well as lives in his own world,” said Ji Chang Wook .

Based on a popular webtoon titled Annarasumanara by Ha Ilkwon, The Sound of Magic still carries the same message about how the characters are between the real world and dreams, and how magic can solve problems.

Director Kim Sung Youn proposed this adaptation idea to the webtoon writer 10 years ago, and now they are ready to present an extraordinary story to global audiences. Writer Kim Min Jeong attempts to bridge the gap between the webtoon and the live action version of The Sound of Magic by paying close attention to every detail.

Kim Min Jeong said, “The process needed to fix various detailed elements is not easy. I have to always make sure that the song lyrics fit the plot, accurately describe the character’s feelings, as well as determine what kind of magic is suitable for Ri Eul’s character,” said Kim Min Jeong.
