Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle Raup Rp 43 Trillion Since 2015

Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle has earned revenues of USD 3 billion or around Rp. 43 Trillion from player spending globally on the App Store and Google Play.

That figure is about six and a half years since it was first launched in January 2015, according to mobile app market research firm Sensor Tower.

“This is one of the highest-grossing mobile game titles ever, as Supercell’s Clash Royale and NCSoft’s Lineage M have crossed the $3 billion mark,” said Sensor Tower.

According to Sensor Tower, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle is the No. 3 worldwide during the first half of 2021 and has generated USD 260.4 million.

” This game is right behind Mixi’s Monster Strike and GungHo’s Puzzle & Dragons, and above Small Giant Games’ Empires & Puzzles and 37Games’ Puzzles & Survival,” Sensor Tower explains.

July 2021 was the third best month for player spending, which raised USD 80.5 million. The best month came in February 2019, while the month with the second highest gross income was July 2020.

“Not only for player spending, July 2021 was also the best month for downloads since August 2017, which garnered 1.6 million installs and 80.6 percent of them came from Google Play,” said Sensor Tower.

Bestsellers in Japan
Japan is the highest contributor to this game’s revenue with a value of USD 1.8 billion in the country or about 60 percent of total player spending. In second and third place are the United States and France.

The App Store accounts for the majority of player spending, accounting for 51.6 percent. Google Play, meanwhile, accounted for 48.4 percent.
