Starting a new month, Netflix presents shows that have been scheduled to air this month. We have summarized some of them so that you are not confused about which film or series to watch first.

 

Director: Kim Jeong-hoon

Casts: Kang Ha-neul, Han Hyo-joo, Lee Kwang-soo, Kwon Sang-woo, Chae Soo-bin, Kim Sung-oh, Oh Se-hun

‘The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure’ is a sequel to the 2014 film ‘The Pirates’ and stars Son Ye-jin and Kim Nam-gil.

The film tells the story of a group of treasure hunters who have to deal with bandits who are also looking for the location of the treasures left by the Goryeo royal family after the kingdom was replaced by Joeson.

The film stars Kang Ha-neul, Lee Kwang-soo, Oh Se-hun, Han Hyu-joo, Chae Soo-bin, and Kwon Sang-woo. ‘The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure’ has been airing in South Korea since January 26, and now you can watch it through the Netflix streaming service.

Against the Ice – 2 Maret

Director: Peter Flinth

Casts: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Charles Dance, Joe Cole, Heida Reed

Adapted from the true story of Ejnar Mikkelsen who tries to survive in extreme temperatures. The film begins in 1909, the Danish Arctic Expedition led by Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) who seeks to refute the United States’ claims to Northeastern Greenland.

This claim is based on the assumption that Greenland is split into two distinct parts. Setting off on a ship, Mikkelsen embarks on a journey across the ice with his inexperienced crew, Iver Iversen (Joe Cole).

The two men manage to find evidence that Greenland is an island, but getting back to the ship turns out to be longer and much more difficult than expected. Fighting hunger, exhaustion, and the attacks of polar bears, they finally arrive and find their ship wrecked in the ice.

Day by day, their mental state begins to fade to survive and creates a sense of distrust to survive.

On 21 March 1945, the British Royal Air Force’s attack on Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen was successful, but also ended in fatal tragedy, as they accidentally targeted a bomb at a school in France as well, resulting in over 120 casualties, 86 of them are children.

The film goes behind the statistics and tells the story of a defining incident as seen through the eyes of the children at school, the nuns, young captive freedom fighters and the attacking aviator. In the battle for peace, civilians and innocents always pay the highest price.

The Andy Warhol Diaries – 9 Maret

Andy Warhol is an icon whose work and life remains a part of the artistic range, but there is always more to discover from the artist. Netflix encapsulates another side of life in the form of a documentary series sourced from its own diary.

Ryan Murphy and Pose produced the series in a unique format, using artificial intelligence technology to convert actor Brian Kelly’s voice into Warhol’s as he tells his story. The result is a remarkable realization of the Pittsburgh Warhol accent the actor recites.

The six-episode series will focus on Andy’s journey as he navigates the worlds of art, publishing, tv, and directing, all while leading larger-than-life celebrity roles.

In addition to the diary narrative, interviews with people who worked with Andy Warhol are also strong supporters of the story in this series, such as John Waters and Rob Lowe.

The Adam Project – 11 Maret

This sci-fi adventure film follows the story of a time-travel pilot who teams up with his younger self and late father to make peace with his past while saving the future.

Having a science fiction genre, ‘The Adam Project’ is directed by Shawn Levy who is also an executive producer and director on the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’. In addition, Shawn has also directed the series ‘The Night at the Museum’, ‘Real Steel’, and ‘The Internship’.

Windfall – 18 Maret

‘Windfall’ is an American thriller that will bring suspense to the audience. The film that takes the action genre tells the story of a robbery that was carried out during the holiday period.

The story revolves around a foreign man (Jason Segel) breaking into a vacation home owned by a tech billionaire (Jesse Plemons), but things go awry when the haughty businessman and his wife (Lily Collins) suddenly come for a vacation.
