Christian Vieri said that Inter Milan had a greater chance of winning the Italian League. According to him, Juventus’ strength weakened after Cristiano Ronaldo left to return to Manchester United.
Christian Vieri has played for Juventus and Inter Milan while actively playing. He also briefly defended AC Milan and Atalanta and was a regular for the Italian national team from the late 1990s to the 2000s.
Of course, because he has defended Juve and Inter, Vieri tries to be objective about who will win the Italian League. However, he prefers Inter Milan.
“Who will be the scudetto? Before Cristiano Ronaldo left I saw Juventus’ attack line was stronger, Juve stronger. Now I prefer Inter,” wrote Vieri in Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Juventus leaves Paulo Dybala, Alvaro Morata and young player Federico Chiesa up front. But Vieri firmly said that alone was not enough.

Moise Kean Doesn’t Match
Vieri also said that the new Juventus striker Moise Kean would not be a suitable replacement for Ronaldo. He compared Inter who could get an experienced striker in Edin Dzeko after selling Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea.
“When Ronaldo left, there was no better option. Someone else has to score the goals he scored, Kean? I don’t think so, but you have to judge him after the season is over.”
“Lukaku? He is irreplaceable, period. However, Inter has taken Dzeko, a player the coach wants, and this is not extraordinary, but he is strategic.”

Negotiations for a new contract between Juventus and Paulo Dybala have been tough. Most recently, Dybala reportedly demanded a high salary increase.
As quoted by Football Italia, Monday (6/9/2021), Paulo Dybala asked to be paid the same as the nominal received by Juventus defender Matthijs de Light.
Italian media Il Corriere Dello Sport reported the Old Lady had some difficulties in negotiating with La Joya, Dybala’s nickname.
The Argentinian wants a deal of similar value that matches the club’s highest-paid player.
De Ligt earns 8 million euros per season, but the deal includes bonuses bringing the total to 12 million euros per year.
Kontrakk Paulo Dybala at Juventus ended the summer of 2022. The 27-year-old has scored one goal and one assist in the first two matches of the Italian league this season.
We both want to continue working together
According to reports in Italy, Dybala and the Bianconeri are both keen to continue working together. However, Dybala has not yet signed a new contract.
The Argentine last signed a contract with Juventus in April 2017. His contract in Turin expires next summer.

Paulo Dybala’s performance last season wasn’t that impressive. However, Juventus believes the player can rise and find his best performance again.
The return of Massimiliano Allegri to the Juventus coach is reportedly making Dyabala sure to stay. When Allegri was at Juventus, Dybala was always his first choice.
Currently, Dybala has just recovered from an injury. The striker was unable to play during Juventus’ pre-season clash with Barcelona on August 8.
The 27-year-old player is confirmed to be able to play again when Juventus undergo the inaugural match of the 2021/2022 Italian League against Udinese on August 22.
