Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a big, big movie, Benedict Cumberbatch told Empire magazine .

This movie will create a stir. And, if this movie can show the ambition that he has, then this movie will be as successful as Spidey Spider-Man: No Way Home he added.

As is well known, the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home has recorded a number of successes. Starting from dominating the US box office to becoming the first pandemic-era movie to break the US$1 billion box office mark.

The record came just 12 days after its release on December 15, 2021.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, the highest-grossing movie globally was the Chinese war movie, The Battle at Lake Changjin, with revenues of US$902.5 million.
