“I’d have to find a way to make it fun for me, too,” Wright said when asked if he wouldn’t feel “sold out” doing a sequel to Baby Driver . “The idea of making these types of productions from scratch is not interesting because, as you know, these films take at least two years and in our case, due to the pandemic, they took even longer.”
“My general rule of thumb for taking on any kind of project is that I really have to feel like doing it,” Wright told Fukunaga, adding, “You and I have been in situations where we left a franchise movie because we had differences. in production.
