Shonen anime has produced many male heroes over the years. They are strong and different. However, even the best mangaka have to struggle to create a character that can be comparable to the male character. However, not so with Jujutsu Kaisen . In a number of series like Naruto and My Hero Academia , the female characters don’t get the development and power they deserve. However, in Jujutsu Kaisen , many women are impressive. The women in this series are not only determined and strong. They are also unique, motivated and willing to go far to achieve their goals. In Jujutsu Kaisen
, these women are treated like humans and not a stereotype or motivation for the male character. The diversity of female characters in Jujutsu Kaisen has brought a number of strong female magicians. Who are they? Quoted from CBR , here’s the review!
5. Maki Zenin
Maki is a 3rd year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High School. He comes from the Zenin Clan, a family of powerful Jujutsu wizards. He was eliminated from his family because he lacked the ability to see cursed spirits. However, her low rank as a grade 4 mage and her lack of spirit sense did not reflect her abilities as a mage.
He was a cursed weapon expert who could wield various cursed equipment. Physically, he is also strong. During the Kyoto Charity Bow, he was able to catch a bullet with his bare hands and without much effort defeated Miwa, who admitted that Maki could defeat a grade 2 cursed spirit.
4. Mai Zenin
Mai is a 2nd grade student of Kyoto Jujutsu High School and a 3rd grade jujutsu mage. She is not only a member of the Zenin Clan, but also Maki’s twin brother. He was forced to become a Jujutsu wizard because his brother left his clan. Hence, he has a lot of grudges against Maki.
Even though she didn’t want to be a witch and didn’t have much cursed energy, Mai was still very strong. Mai uses a shotgun and bullets infused with cursed energy. He is a marking expert with the ability to knock out enemies with one hit from a distance.
He can paralyze Nobara while sitting on a tree a few meters away. His strongest ability is construction. He can create an object, which he uses to create additional bullets.
3. Nobara Kugisaki
Nobara is a confident and impudent 1st grader. He is also one of the main trio besides Yuji and Megumi. Although Satoru Gojo initially doubted that anyone from the village could take on a cursed spirit from the city, Nobara proved that he was as ready as his friends with his straw puppet technique.
Physically, he wasn’t strong, but he had a tremendous amount of cursed energy. While fighting in Eishu Prison, he was able to survive when he ran out of nails. Nobara also shows that he can knock out two special grade spirits with Itadori.
When Eso used the technique on the two, Nobara stabbed himself with a fingernail technique to counter him. Itadori would have lost had it not been for Nobara’s quick thinking. His courage in facing a special grade spirit showed how strong he was.
2. Momo Nishimiya
Momo Nishimiya is a 3rd year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High School. He looks young but he has a lot of experience as a Jujutsu mage. He is not physically strong, but excels in mobility and information gathering. This technique allows him to control a broom and fly. She acts as supervisor for her classmates at the Kyoto Charity Bow.
When fighting against Nobara, he is able to maneuver around Nobara’s moves. He even managed to get a good hit while controlling his broom to hit Nobara in the face. He did lose to Nobara, but Nobara needed a lot of cursed energy to defeat him.
1. Kasumi Miwa
At the Kyoto Charity Bow, Miwa can’t show all her abilities. But, she was definitely a skilled mage. Even though he lacked innate techniques, he was able to hold his own against Maki, the weapon expert.
Miwa also lacks confidence and often compares herself to her classmates. But, he didn’t let people underestimate him. He worked hard to refine his sword technique, a new shadow style. Although he still had a lot to learn, he had the potential to become a very powerful mage.
