Again My Life, My Liberation Notes, Shooting Star and April’s featured Korean series

Although outstanding Korean films such as 25 21, Thirty Nine or A Business Proposal have ended, do not be sad because April witnessed the “landing” of many great works such as Tomorrow, Our Blues or Again My Life.with the main star cast. Let’s go through it together!

1. Tomorrow (1.04)

Originally scheduled at the end of March, Tomorrow was rescheduled to April 1, making many people look forward to it. After appearing in The King’s Affection , Rowoon went on to play the lead role of Choi Joon Woong in Tomorrow . Our Blues is an omnibus-style drama that tells the sweet, sour, and bitter life stories of diverse characters in the Jeju Island setting. Lee Byung Hun will play the role of Lee Dong Suk, a guy born and raised in the countryside of Jeju Island, selling everything for a living. Shin Min Ah is Min Sun Ah, a woman with a secret going to Jeju and getting to know Lee Dong Suk.

Han Ji Min transforms into Lee Young Ok, a rookie haenyeo (female diver who harvests marine life) but is surrounded by many rumors. Kim Woo Bin is Captain Park Jung Joon, a warm guy who met Lee Young Ok and fell in love with her. Cha Seung Won’s character Choi Han Soo returns to his hometown of Jeju after adjusting to city life, while Lee Jung Eun will play fish shop owner Jung Eun Hee, who reunites with her first love Choi Han Soo later. 30 years. Uhm Jung Hwa will take on the character Go Mi Ran, a friend of Jung Eun Hee, who returns to Jeju because she is bored with city life.

3. My Liberation Notes (09.04)

My Liberation Notes is about three siblings who want to escape from a suffocating life. Everything begins to change when a stranger – Mr. Gu (Son Seok Gu), arrives in their small town. Lee El plays the eldest sister Yeom Ki Jung, who is exhausted from commuting from home to Seoul to go to work every day. Lee Min Ki is Yeom Chang Hee, the middle child with no dreams or ambitions, and Kim Ji Won plays the maknae Yeom Mi Jung, who decides to change to get rid of her dull and monotonous life.

4. Love All Play (20.04)

Love All Play is a sports and emotional genre about a boy and girl playing mixed doubles on a badminton team. Park Ju Hyun plays Park Tae Yang, a former track and field athlete who has to give up badminton due to an incident even though the sport means a lot to her. Chae Jong Hyeop takes on the role of Park Tae Joon, who simply sees badminton as his job. When he met Park Taeyang, he began to change his mind.

5. Shooting Star (22.04)

Shooting Stars is a romantic comedy about people who work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, about people who clean up the mess created by the stars. The film describes the actual story of the crews who poured blood, sweat and tears to make singers and actors shine like stars in the sky.

Lee Sung Kyung will play Oh Han Byul, the PR team leader of an entertainment company, while Kim Young Dae will play her nemesis, the A-list star Gong Tae Sung, who specializes in troublemaking.

6. From Now, Show Time! (23.04)

From Now, Show Time! is a mystery comedy about a famous magician named Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae Jin) who can summon ghosts and a passionate policeman named Go Seul Hae (Jin Ki Joo) who has supernatural powers. Jung Joon Ho plays Choi Geom, a god who has protected Cha Cha Woong’s family for generations.

Jung Suk Yong, Go Kyu Pil, and Park Seo Yeon play three ghosts hired by Cha Cha Woong. Kim Hee Jae plays the youngest police officer Lee Yong Ryeol and Jang Ha Eun plays Ye Ji – a young magician.

7. The Killer’s Shopping List (27.04)

Based on a novel, The Killer’s Shopping List is a comedy, mystery thriller about an ordinary neighborhood on the outskirts of Seoul. When a mysterious body is found in the vicinity of an apartment building, supermarket receipts become key evidence that kicks off the exciting hunt for the killer.

Lee Kwang Soo plays Ahn Dae Sung, who was once considered a genius with an impressive memory until an incident occurred at his mother’s market when he was 10 years old. Seolhyun plays Do Ah Hee, Ahn Dae Sung’s girlfriend who is a passionate police officer.

8. Monstrous (29.04)

Monstrous revolves around people lured by a curse from “that thing” that shouldn’t have appeared in the world as well as the story of archaeologists chasing monstrous cases that have never been heard of. The film begins when a village is engulfed in disaster with the discovery of a mysterious haunted Buddha statue. Goo Kyo Hwan plays the eccentric archaeologist Jung Ki Hoon and Shin Hyun Been plays the genius sample analyst Lee Soo Jin.

9. Again My Life (08.04)

Again My Life revolves around a young prosecutor who gets a second chance at justice after failing to take down the powerful. Lee Joon Gi plays Kim Hee Woo, a guy who was wrongly killed while investigating a corrupt politician but unexpectedly gets a second chance in life. Kim Ji Eun transforms into Kim Hee Ah, a genius and the youngest daughter of the CEO of Cheonha Group.
