Marvel is inspired by The Rings of Power

A relationship between The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Marvel Studios? Kevin Feige takes ideas from the Amazon Prime Video series.

Marvel has been inspired by The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Or, more specifically, in one of the stars that appears in the fantasy series. In statements to Variety, the actor Ismael Cruz Córdova, who plays the elf Arondir in fiction, revealed that he has a “very good relationship” with the casting directors of the UCM. He also pointed out that the study chaired by Kevin Feige has already contacted him for different projects. An interpretive inspiration that the superhero universe seems to like.

Curiously, The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power actor has confirmed he was in the running to play Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. But Will Poulter got the part instead, eventually. “I really wanted to play that role,” Ismael Cruz Córdova said of the character of Adam Warlock at Marvel Studios. “But Will Poulter is amazing, so I don’t get mad. It’s a shame, because I love that whole story.” The truth is that Will Poulter amazed all viewers with the characterization of him as Adam Warlock. And he has a great future ahead of him in the MCU.

As we have said, in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power the 36-year-old Puerto Rican actor plays the silvan elf Arondir. Other roles for the actor include The Mandalorian, The Undoing and Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. The fact that Ismael Cruz Córdova is in talks for different roles in the MCU suggests that the immense talent of the actor has caught the attention of Marvel Studios. The study, we insist, has found inspiration in the Amazon Prime Video series. A series that, on the other hand, has caused a lot of controversy and division in social networks.
