6 Marvel Movies Built on Eternals, Number 4 Most Awaited

Eternals is indeed a film that introduces 10 new superheroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). But, the film also builds the foundation for future Marvel projects. From the story to the ending of this film, there are at least 6 films whose foundations have been laid in Eternals.

InEternals, these 10 new MCU superheroes rebel against the Celestials’ plans against Earth and the natural orders of the universe. With Arishem revealing who he is to the world, anyone will start asking questions. The concept of an unborn Celestial piercing the earth clearly rocked the universe in Phase 3 and beyond.

With the death of Ajak, the sun-burning Ikaris, and the other Eternals separated, a sequel to this film isn’t coming any time soon. However, this film has clearly laid the groundwork for a number of future MCU films. Anything? Quoted from Screen Rant , here’s the review!

1. Black Knight

The Black Knight is a future MCU property that was introduced in Eternal s from the start. In this film, the new Black Knight is officially in the post-credits scene. Throughout the film, he appears as Dane Whitman (Kit Harington).

Dane was initially introduced as Sersi’s boyfriend. She looks like an ordinary human who accidentally gets into a love affair with an ancient goddess. However, Eternals alludes to the Dane’s complicated family history. The film also reveals that Dane has the legendary Ebony Sword. Sersi’s disappearance at the hands of Arishem motivates Dane to draw the cursed sword and become the Black Knight, a nickname that has been passed down in his family.

What was even more surprising was that there was a sound that stopped Dane from touching the sword. Black Knight and Blade are not known to have worked together. But because of their affinity for the mystical and their obsession with the sword, it was easy to see why Blade would want to instruct Dane in the occult world. The Black Knight can appear in feature films or series on Disney+.

2. Blade

Since being announced in 2019, Blade has become a highly anticipated addition. The film is also said to be entering Phase 5 of the MCU. Vampires in the MCU have been confirmed to exist in Thor: Ragnarok with Loki briefly referring to his existence. Meanwhile, the release of Morbius in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU) started the existence of vampires in the Marvel world today.

Mahershala Ali is an actor lined up as Eric Brook aka Blade. He first appeared in the MCU in the post- credits scene of Eternals . He doesn’t appear in any physical form in the scene, only his voice.

The Latin inscription on the Ebony Sword storage case is Mors Mihi Lucrum, which means Death is My Reward. This phrase not only showed how dangerous the Ebony Sword and Black Knight’s curse was, but it also seemed to offend the undead. It would be an understatement to call Blade, a vampire Daywalker, experienced in vampire matters.

Blade could appear alongside Dane Whitman in the film or TV series Black Knight before appearing in the film itself. Although, there is a possibility that Dane will appear as a supporting character in the Blade movie . Until now, not much is known about this Blade film .

3. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

The existence of Atlantis in the MCU has been around since Iron Man 2 . However, it was only in Eternals that Atlantis finally had a reason to make contact with the mainland world. Tiamut’s frozen body would obviously require more than all the Damage Control workers to clean it. This means, it is the Atlantic who has to do it.

The king of Atlantis, Namor the Submariner, probably believed that he was entitled to hold the mainlanders responsible for the damage to his kingdom. Namor is a powerful Marvel hero. He is known for his temper.

With Namor rumored to be the main villain in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever , the events of Eternalscould be the catalyst for war between Altantis and Wakanda. The tension between the two kingdoms may have stemmed from Wakanda’s decision to reveal their existence to the world. In the Marvel comics, Celestials’ revenge on the Deviants causes Atlantis to sink.

4. Fantastic Four

Eternals build the limitless power of Celestials. This opened the door for other god-like entities to set their sights on the earth. Like every other planet that gave the Celestials enough energy to stimulate their birth, each planet had enough energy to feed Galactus, the destroyer of the world.

Galactus is one of the Fantastic Four’s most infamous villains and Marvel’s strongest character. If he knew Tiamut’s failed birth and Arishem’s sudden appearance, he could realize that the earth was a great source of energy. Galactus’ presence could bring the Fantastic Four out of the shadows.

This could also see Silver Surfer make his first appearance in the MCU. Silver Surfer’s role as anchor of Galactus is similar to that of Ajak and Sersi’s connection with Arishem. The Fantastic Four in the MCU will be directed by Jon Watts, who also directed the MCU Spider-Man trilogy .

5. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

There are many potential setups from the Guardians of the Galaxy film for Eternals . Like the cameo of Eson the Searcher, Ego, and the head of the Celestials who became Knowhere. Surprisingly, the Eternals don’t admit it at all.

But, the return of the Eternals and Celestials could not be ignored by the entire galaxy. Guardians of the Galaxy could be the first cosmic characters to investigate what is happening on earth.

In addition, Starfox and Pip the Troll could take the three Eternals to where the Guardians had gone. They will question Nebula about the death of Starfox’s brother, Thanos. Because in the comics Pip the Troll was close to Adam Warlock, he was able to entrench him in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 .

6. Infinity Watch

With Starfox, Pip the Troll and Adam Warlock introduced in the MCU, the opportunity to see the Infinity Watch for the first time is wide open. This group does not have a regular lineup. However, some of its most important members will be key players in Phase 4.

The first version of the group is led by Adam Warlock. This includes Drax, Gamora, Maxam, Moondragon—Drax’s son, the reformed Thanos and Pip the Troll. Since Thanos is gone and Doctor Strange seems to have returned to his Time Stone in Spider-Man: No Way Home , the Infinity Watch in the MCU could draw inspiration from the second version of the group.

The second version of the group consists of Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel and Star-Lord. In the third version, there are Loki, Kang the Conqueror and Ms Marvel. It is not yet known how the MCU will return the Infinity Stones to the franchise .
